Meet the Team

Phoebe Gray
Principal

Phoebe started dancing at the Vanessa Gardener school of classical ballet at 3 years old where she continued through the school and achieved her Intermediate examination level in Cecchetti Ballet.

Phoebe has her DDE in Cecchetti classical ballet and is qualified in ISTD contemporary. She has been teaching for a number of years at schools in and around Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire.

She is DBS checked, First Aid trained and is a registered chaperone.

From performing throughout her childhood and teens she has had the pleasure in her adult career to help pass the joy of dance onto her students and watch them grow and flourish in shows and exam settings. 

Phoebe’s passion is in choreography and creating new and exciting pieces for dancers of all different ages. 

Phoebe became the owner of the Stirling School of Dance in August 2024

Nicole Ribet
Teacher

Nicole trained at The London College of Dance and Drama where she successfully qualified as a teacher, upon which she was awarded a scholarship by the Cecchetti Society with the American Ballet Theatre at Michigan State University. The panel for this award included Dame Ninnete de Valois, Kenneth McMillan and David Wall. She also trained at The London School of Contemporary Dance.

Nicole then went onto :

  • Work as a freelance tutor and Head of Dance and Musical Theatre Coordinator at GSA  and BSA.  
  • Work at Halstead Preparatory School in Woking. 
  • Work as a guest teacher in the USA at both Penn state and Kurztown Universities.
  • Work extensively in Russia  for GITIS (the Russian Academy for Theatre Arts  as a guest tutor in dance for their musical theatre courses.

She is an accomplished dancer, performer and choreographer  who has worked widely across the UK and Europe.  Nicole is delighted to join the team at The Stirling School of Dance and looks forward to meeting you all.

 

Ashleigh Arundel
Class Assistant

Ashleigh grew up in Surrey and started her ballet journey at 2 years old, she also did contemporary and tap but fell in love with the creativity and discipline ballet gave her. 

She has been a teaching assistant for Nina Monteiro ballet school since 2018. Ashleigh fell in love with the cecchetti method and loves to pass on her knowledge to other students so then they can also find their passion for dance. 

Ashleigh is currently doing a teaching course and is also a teaching assistant at Canada Water studios, she has a passion for the creativity of dance and strives to create an open, safe and welcoming environment.
