Terms & Conditions

• Fees are required on or before the first day of every term.
• Cheques must have the pupil’s name on the back of each cheque.
• Cash should be placed in an envelope marked with the pupil's name.
• If paying by Bank Transfer, please use child’s name as reference + Invoice No.

HALF A TERMS NOTICE IS REQUIRED IN WRITING BEFORE WITHDRAWING A PUPIL FROM ANY CLASS OR A TERM’S FEES WILL BE CHARGED IN LIEU OF NOTICE.

A 15% administrative surcharge for late payment of fees will be added to the total amount owing.

• All pupils must wear the correct uniform
• No jewellery
• No tattoos
• Hair to be tied back off the face
• The school cannot undertake responsibility for any money or item lost on the premises.
• The School reserves the right to amend / alter the Terms & Conditions at any time.
• The School reserves the right to amend / alter fees and classes as and when necessary.
• The School reserves the right to cancel classes due to adverse weather conditions.  These classes will not necessarily be replaced.

Privacy Notice

• All information received will be stored securely and not sold to 3rd parties.
• The School will only share information with the relevant teachers or administrative staff.

Exams

Parents/guardians of pupils taking examinations submit information to the School which is passed on to the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). This information is stored solely for the purposes of registering a pupil for an examination. In respect of exam timetables and exam results sent by the ISTD, these may be displayed on our closed Facebook group.(see Privacy Policy).

Shows/Displays/Performances

Surrey County Council require names and postcodes of all performers to allow children to dance in theatres.
Chaperones will have access to the above information for the purposes of Child Safeguarding.

Photos taken during shows, competitions, special events at the School may be used solely for School purposes, such as the School’s website and other School promotional material. These will be stored securely as per Privacy Policy.

The Stirling School of Dance Facebook Group is a closed and private group open to members only. The Group serves as a notice board and may include pupil achievements, exam results and photos.

It will be strictly forbidden for parents/guardians to take photos of children on School premises during School events such as parent watching sessions, rehearsals, shows and exams. Teachers may take photos and will seek permission from parents/guardians at the time of the event.

By registering at the Stirling School of Dance you accept the above Terms & Conditions and have read the Privacy Notice. You give permission to The Stirling  School of Dance to use information as described and to contact you with information and invoices whilst you are attending the School.
