Uniform
At SSD students have to wear the official uniform and we would appreciate if you could purchase the correct attire for your child. Uniform can be purchased from 4Dance in Walton 4 Thames St, Walton-on-Thames KT12 2PU.

- Pink/skin colour convertible ballet tights or socks
- Pink/skin colour leather ballet shoes.
- Pink X-over Cardigan.
- Hair tied up
Pre- Primary/ Primary/ standard 1
- Navy Leotard and matching navy skirt
- Pink/skin colour convertible tights or socks
- Pink/skin colour Leather ballet shoes

- Hair in bun
Grade 1- Standard/ Grade 4
- Navy Leotard with a belt

- Choice of simple black leotard with belt

Wearing a uniform creates a sense of identity and belonging within the studio, it creates a sense of unity like a corps de ballet.
It also helps improve technique, as the teacher can see the alignment and posture without distractions. Each piece of uniform has its reason to be worn.
